1st August 2020 is the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Liberation Army of the People’s Republic of China. Hereby, I would like to express my sincere congratulations to the People’s Liberation Army which has made great historical contributions, and my high respect to the brave, devoted, selfless Chinese military personnel.

        China’s armed forces are staunch force in maintaining world peace and stability, contributing to building a community with a shared future for mankind, unswervingly endorsing the central role of the UN in international affairs, and actively supporting the UN peacekeeping operations. As a permanent member of UN Security Council, China is a principal contributor of funds and troops to the UN peacekeeping missions.

        Since the outbreak of Covid-19 epidemic, the Chinese military has been actively conducting the international cooperation in the fight against epidemic, sending military medicine experts to several countries, providing assistance of protective and medical supplies to more than 20 countries, including the Republic of North Macedonia, exchanging experiences via video conference with more than 10 countries.

        The relations between China and North Macedonia remain healthy and stable. And the two militaries are also actively conducting the military cooperation based on mutual respect, including China’s donation of protective medical equipment to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of North Macedonia on 14th July. It is expected that the two sides will further improve mutual trust by strengthening cooperation, and make contributions to world peace and security.
