2020-08-24

On August 5th, 2020, the Chinese Embassy in North Macedonia has released "Notice On Certificates of Negative Nucleic Acid Tests Required for China-bound Passengers from North Macedonia". It requires that all China-bound passengers from North Macedonia should take nucleic acid tests at qualified institutes within 5 days before boarding and obtain Health Codes with "HS" logo or Health Declaration Forms stamped by the Chinese Embassy in North Macedonia with their certificates of negative nucleic acid tests.

To further ensure the health and safety of China-bound passengers and to reduce the risk of trans-border spread of the epidemic, all China-bound passengers from North Macedonia are required to take nucleic acid tests at qualified institutes within 3 days before boarding, instead of 5 days as required in the previous notice.

This requirement comes into force as of August 24th.
