April 26, 2010, Ambassador Dong Chunfeng presents Shanghai World Expo and held a reception in hotel "Holiday Inn" in Skopje. Chief representative of the Macedonian Government for Shanghai World Expo, deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Haji-Vaskov, director for bilateral relations in Macedonia Foreign Ministry Stojceski, director for economic diplomacy Efremov, director for foreign investment bureau Mizo, president of Macedonia-China Friendship Association Korobar and other major friends, ambassadors from other countries in Macedonia, overseas Chinese, Chinese teachers etc, all together about 200 people attended the reception. Journalists from Macedonian mainstream media covered the event.

AmbassadorDong in his speech presented the meaning of the Expo and described in detail the relevant information of Shanghai World Expo. He said the success of the Shanghai World Expo can't do without the active participation of the entire world, this global event will be successfully held in Shanghai, China.

Haji-Vaskov, chief representative of the Macedonian Government for Shanghai World Expo, briefed the design concept of Macedonian pavilion, construction progress, particularly thanked the Chinese government and embassy's help and support.

English documentary of the Shanghai World Expo was also broadcast during the event, so that Macedonia people have an intuitive understanding of Shanghai World Expo. The whole event was held successfully in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
