Veljanoski thanked the National People's Congress of People's Republic of China's warm hospitality and thoughtful arrangements, praised that Shanghai Expo was organized in good order and the opening ceremony was exciting and impressive. During the visit in China, Veljanoski held friendly and frank meeting separately with Chairman of NPC Wu Bangguo, vice-president Xi Jinping, and vice chairman of NPC Han Qide. Veljanoski regarded the visit will benefit and widen the friendly cooperation of various fields between the two countries, reiterated that Macedonia persist in one-China policy, thanked the Chinese side for understanding Macedonian position in the name dispute and supporting Macedonia in the Expo. Veljanoski heartfully admired the rapid development of China's economy, people's living, and looked forward to the Chinese leader's visit to Macedonia.

AmbassadorDong thanked Veljanoski heading the delegation to attend the opening ceremony of Shanghai Expo, pointed out that this first visit of Macedonia parliament speaker to China and meeting with Chinese leaders are of great significance to the smooth development of bilateral relations.
