May 23, Small Montmartre Art Festival and 30 Anniversary was opened in the old city bazaar of Bitola. More than 200 children from 16 countries and regions such as Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Egypt etc. participated in the finished painting works competition. Mr. Liu Haochang and his wife, initiators of Simply Art Studio in Hong Kong SAR China, led 10 participating students to attend the festival and were awarded the highest honor "Grand Prix 2011". Mr. Cui Zhimin, Counselor of Embassy of China in Macedonia, attended the awarding ceremony.

                 

Small Montmartre Festival is organized by the children's art studio in Bitola and has held 30 sessions so far. It has two competitions: one for finished painting, one for spot painting. In the next following 7 days, the participants would enjoy paiting in Bitola, Krusevo, and Ohrid, and then participate in the final selection.
