Li Keqiang noted that adhering to reform and opening up is the independent choice of the Chinese people. There is large potential in the Chinese medical market, and you are welcome to expand research input here to develop safe medicines suitable for the Chinese people. On relations between China and the United States (US), Executive Vice President of US Chamber of Commerce Myron Brilliant said that the two sides should strengthen cooperation, enhance mutual trust, reach an agreement on economic and trade issues at an early date, and ensure the effective implementation of the agreement.
Li Keqiang expressed that over the past 40 years, China-US relations have made historic progress despite ups and downs, bringing huge benefits to the two peoples and making important contributions to the peace, stability and development of the world. Although there are some differences between the two sides, dialogue and cooperation have always been the mainstream. In accordance with the consensus reached by the two heads of state, economic and trade teams of the two sides are making positive progress through multiple rounds of consultations.
