July 21st, Ambassador Dong Chunfeng, paid a farewell visit to former president and currently chairman of SDSM Mr. Branko Crvenkovski. Political counselor Mr. Cui Zhimin from Embassy also attended the meeting.

Ambassador Dong thanked Mr. Crvenkovski for his support to himself and also help to bilateral relations. The latter thanked Ambassador Dong for his contribution to bilateral relations, regarded as most active one among all ambassadors to Macedonia, and gained respect from all sides in Macedonia. Mr. Crvenkovski said both countries had carried out good economic cooperation, with many projects started until now, and he also hoped both countries would actively enhance economic cooperation in future.

Both sides also exchanged ideas on issues like political situation in Macedonia and ethnic relations etc.
