Newly-appointed Ambassador Mr. Cui Zhiwei presented credential to H.E Gjorge Ivanov, President of the Republic of Macedonia

September 6th, newly-appointed Ambassador Mr. Cui Zhiwei presented credential to H.E Gjorge Ivanov, President of the Republic of Macedonia.

Ambassador Cui conveyed the sincere greetings from President of China Mr. Hu Jintao, praised highly of bilateral relations, and stated that bilateral relations had been deepened through recent years’ contributions from bilateral leaders. Bilateral cooperation in politics, economy, culture and education are also enhanced, and mutual understanding between two nations had been continuously increased. As the new Chinese Ambassador to Macedonia, he’s honored and also felt the pressure of responsibility and would try his best to promote friendship cooperation between two countries to a new level.

President Ivanov welcomed Ambassador Cui and asked to convey his best wishes to President Hu Jintao, stating that Macedonia emphasized relations with China, regarded China as a important partner, and would stick to One-China policy and enhance overall cooperation with China. He also expressed hope to visit China as soon as possible and had meetings with President Hu Jintao.

Ambassador Cui Zhiwei arrived in Macedonia on September 3rd, 2011.
