Yang Jiechi Meets with Country Representatives of China-CEEC Ministerial Meeting on Promoting Trade and Economic Coopertion

On June 8, 2014, State Councilor Yang Jiechi met in Ningbo with country representatives attending the China-Central Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Ministerial Meeting on Promoting Trade and Economic Coopertion in China.

Yang Jiechi expressed that China and CEEC enjoy a profound traditional friendship and time-honored cooperation. CEEC is one of the European regions boasting the most economic dynamic and potential, and China's reform and opening-up has now officially entered a new development stage. The further enhancement of cooperation between the two sides is conducive to bringing into full play the complementary advantages and realizing win-win cooperation. It is hoped that both sides could further strengthen communication, inspire innovative thinking and enhance exchanges, promoting the cooperation in investment, economy, trade and other fields for continuous development in an extensive and in-depth manner.

CEEC representatives are all optimistic about China's economic prospect and expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation with China and seek more development opportunities.
